E-mail Setup - iPhone (iOS 6)

This example uses settings for the E-mail address, info@NBRconsulting.com, with info as the account name. Please remember to replace your own address and domain name in your setup.

  1. Select "Settings"
  2. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
  3. Select "Add Account"
  4. Select "Other"
  5. Select "Add Mail Account"
  6. Under Name, enter your name (as it would appear on a business card)
  7. Under E-mail, enter your full E-mail address
  8. Under Password, enter your E-mail password
  9. Under Description, enter a description so that you can distinguish the account from your other E-mail addresses
  10. Select "Next"
  11. Select "IMAP"
  12. Under “Incoming Mail Server”
  13. Under "Host Name", enter your incoming mail server ( - ie., “nbrconsulting.com”)
  14. Enter your user name (your E-mail address - ie., “info”)
  15. Enter your E-mail password (it may already be filled in)
  16. Under “Outgoing Mail Server”
  17. Under "Host Name", enter your outgoing mail server (smtp. - ie., “smtp.nbrconsulting.com”)
  18. Enter your user name (your E-mail address - ie., “info”)
  19. Enter your E-mail password (it may already be filled in)
  20. Click "Next"
  21. If it asks about SSL, select that you want to connect without SSL
  22. You are now ready to check your mail.
