Legal Statement
When a computer is connected to the internet or to a network, or when data is shared via removable media (diskette, zip disk, CD-ROM, or similar), the computer is exposed to security vulnerabilities. A computer system can be compromised by proficient users and by viruses regardless of how tight the security is. We adjust for various security concerns if and when it’s appropriate for the particular settings of the computers being configured. This helps to minimize the risk, yet allow for usability. However, due to the nature of the environment, and vulnerabilities in computers, their operating systems, and applications, there is still a possibility that issues may arise which are beyond our control. We will suggest/advise how to limit this risk. However, we are not and cannot be responsible for problems that may occur, as they are part of normal daily issues that often arise with computer systems.
